Mike is Queen’s Counsel and is an experienced litigator whose practice is focused in the areas of Personal Injury and Disability Law. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of New Brunswick, and the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society.
Mike holds a B.B.A. and an LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick and a LL.M. from York University. He was formerly Minister of Health, Government House Leader, Attorney General, and Minister of Justice in New Brunswick.
Mike practises law in both English and French and was appointed as Queen’s Counsel in 2007. He has appeared at all levels of the Courts in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, and was the lead counsel on many of New Brunswick’s precedents in personal injury.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Moira J. Kelly, and their five children. He also has a farm and contributes to the New Brunswick Solicitor’s Journal.
